- Solvent-free and isocyanate-free formulation reduces health risks
- Excellent adhesion to most substrates including concrete, metal, wood, ceramics, and tiles
- Rain resistant within two hours after application; effective in variable weather conditions
- Not recommended for permanent immersion applications (e.g., ponds or swimming pools)
Specifications
- Chemistry & Design: SMX hybrid polymer technology; solvent- and isocyanate-free; supplied as two 500g sachets with application brush, non-woven fleece (15cm x 30cm), gloves, and tub per kit.
- Sustainability & Certifications: Water-vapour permeable membrane with excellent crack-bridging (elongation at break: approx. 280–380%). Temperature resistance from -40°C to +80°C. Shelf life: up to twelve months unopened at +5°C – +25°C.
- Performance: Rain-resistant after approximately two hours. Consumption rate: about 1.4 kg/m² (1 mm thick) up to roughly 0.7 m² per kit at recommended coating thickness of ~1–2 mm.
- Differentiators: Paintable finish once cured; can be reinforced with included non-woven fleece between layers for added strength; suitable for horizontal or vertical applications.
How it works
Apply Soudagum Hydro by brush in two layers on a dust- and grease-free surface to form a continuous flexible waterproof barrier. The membrane cures quickly—becoming rain-resistant within two hours—and can be reinforced using the provided fleece between coats when bridging cracks or joints.
