Usage
Parabond Fast 500 white is a versatile adhesive and sealant designed for fast bonding and elastic sealing of construction materials, interior finishes, and assembly tasks. Suitable for professional building, renovation, or repair in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Advantages
- Adheres without primer to most construction substrates such as concrete, metal, wood, glass, ceramics, and plastics
- Cures rapidly to develop strong initial tack for immediate handling
- Permanently elastic joint accommodates movement without cracking or loss of adhesion
- Resistant to UV rays and weathering; ideal for outdoor applications
- Solvent-, isocyanate-, and phthalate-free formulation supports safe use in occupied spaces; minor drawback: not recommended for bituminous surfaces
Specifications
- Technology: MS polymer-based one-component adhesive/sealant in a cartridge format (290 ml)
- Shelf life: up to 12 months when stored unopened at +5°C to +25°C; complies with EC1plus/low VOC emission standards; French A+ label on indoor air quality
- Curing rate: approximately 3 mm/24h at standard conditions (23°C/50% RH); skin formation after ~10 minutes
- Permanently elastic after cure (modulus at break ≥0.60 MPa), paintable with water-based paints (compatibility test recommended), suitable for slightly damp surfaces as well as dry substrates
How it works
Squeeze Parabond Fast 500 directly onto clean surfaces using a standard caulking gun. Position bonded elements within the open time before curing begins. After application, the product reacts with ambient moisture to form an elastic bond or seal that absorbs movement while maintaining grip.
