Usage
This kit of 6 sleeves with T42mm screws is specifically designed for adjusting and securing 60AT hinges on aluminum doors. It facilitates installation and precise alignment in commercial or residential settings.
Advantages
- Compatible with Dr. Hahn 60AT aluminum door hinges for assured fit
- Allows continuous horizontal adjustment of ±2 mm without door removal
- Enables vertical adjustment from +3 mm to -2 mm directly on the hung door
- Simplifies pressure adjustment of the sealing gasket by ±0.5 mm
- Adjustment can be made on either open or closed doors, DIN left or right orientation supported
Specifications
- The kit includes: six sleeves (douilles) and corresponding T42mm anchoring screws, tailored for use with Dr. Hahn's multi-lamella hinges (two- and three-leaf types)
- Sleeves and screws are constructed to withstand repeated adjustments; compatible with industry-standard aluminum profiles used in architectural doors; meets typical commercial durability expectations[1][2]
- T42mm screw length provides deep anchorage; supports horizontal (±2 mm), vertical (+3/-2 mm), and pressure (+/-0.5 mm) adjustments while maintaining hinge performance over time[1][2]
- Differentiating feature: full adjustability in multiple axes without removing or unmounting the door; reversible design fits both DIN left and right installations[1][2]
How it works
The sleeves are placed into the designated openings of a compatible aluminum door frame, aligning precisely with the paumelle (hinge). Once inserted, each T42mm screw anchors the sleeve, enabling fine-tuned multidirectional adjustments—horizontal, vertical, and gasket pressure—to optimize hinge positioning without dismantling the door.
