Usage

Designed for precision grinding, surface preparation, and deburring in tight or hard-to-reach spaces, the Milwaukee M12 FDGA-422B angled die grinder suits professional maintenance, automotive, and metalworking applications.

Advantages

  • Cordless operation for enhanced mobility on-site without restricting airline hoses.
  • Compact length of only 119 mm enables access to confined areas.
  • Equipped with a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor for improved efficiency and longer tool life.
  • Four-mode speed control (up to 10,000 rpm) plus a variable speed trigger offer precise adjustment based on the task.
  • Compatible with all Milwaukee® M12™ batteries thanks to the flexible battery system.

Specifications

  • Features robust Li-ion battery power (supplied with both 2.0 Ah and 4.0 Ah packs) and REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence hardware/software for protection against overloads and thermal damage.[3][5]
  • Bearing industry-recognized durability standards; built for demanding professional environments.[3]
  • No-load speed range: up to 10,000 rpm; disc diameter: up to ø50 mm; collet capacity: accepts both Ø6 mm and Ø8 mm accessories.[4][5]
  • Differentiates itself as the first cordless right angle die grinder offering more power than many pneumatic models while remaining lightweight and maneuverable at just under twelve centimeters long.[1][6]

How it works

The user selects an appropriate accessory (e.g., grinding disc), secures it in either a six or eight-millimeter collet, mounts a charged M12 battery pack, adjusts the speed mode if needed via selector switch or trigger pressure, then activates grinding with ergonomic one-handed control.
