Usage

The Geze TS 5000 V door closer is designed for controlled closing of single-leaf doors, suitable for both right- and left-hand installations on fire and smoke protection doors in commercial or residential buildings.

Specifications

  • Slimline body in white RAL 9016 finish with guide rail; overall length approximately 287 mm, depth 47 mm, height 60 mm.
  • Manufactured in compliance with EN 1154 standards; approved for use on fire/smoke protection doors when mounted with plate as specified by regulations.
  • Covers door leaf widths up to max. 1400 mm; continuously variable closing force from size EN 2 to EN 6. All key adjustments are made easily from the front panel during or after installation.[3][5]
  • Differentiators include thermo-stabilized valves for performance consistency across temperature changes and a safety valve against deliberate damage.[5]

How it works

The TS 5000 V uses an internal rack-and-pinion mechanical system combined with hydraulic damping to control door movement. Closing speed, latching action, backcheck resistance, and spring strength are adjusted via accessible front-facing screws according to desired functionality or regulatory requirements.[3][5]
