Usage
This supplementary stay is designed for installation with the Primat-FL190 system, enhancing the functionality and security of lift-open and lift-open-drop windows or doors in residential and commercial environments.
Advantages
- Increases compression force on sashes for improved thermal insulation performance[1][2].
- Allows smooth operation even with large window openings up to 190 mm[2].
- Quick installation and adjustment without special tools required[1][2].
- Withstands high wind loads; integrated storm-resistant stop mechanism[1][2].
- Features a three-point locking mechanism for enhanced sealing and safety[1][2].
Specifications
- Main visible parts are made of aluminium; functional internal components are steel finished with HAUTAU-Splus for corrosion resistance[2].
- Suitable for glass weights up to 70 kg/m², supporting sash widths from at least 440 mm up to a maximum of 3600 mm (with multiple stays); maximum sash weight is up to 80 kg depending on configuration[2][3].
- Smooth anti-dirt profiling inside the stays ensures long-term smooth running and extends product lifespan[1][3].
- The design requires only a minimal installation space (23 mm) within the frame, making it adaptable to various window materials including PVC, wood, or aluminum profiles[1][3].
How it works
The supplementary stay mounts directly onto Primat-FL190 hardware. When engaged, it assists in closing or opening the sash by distributing mechanical force. Its multi-point locking increases contact pressure between sash and frame, providing reliable sealing against air infiltration while maintaining ease of use through an ergonomic lever action.[1][4]
