Usage
This mechanical closing selector with nickel-plated steel arm and rollers is designed for managing coordinated door closures in double-door installations, ensuring orderly and reliable latching in commercial or industrial environments.
Advantages
- Enables synchronized closing of overlapping double doors
- Nickel-plated steel construction provides corrosion resistance
- Equipped with robust steel rollers to ensure smooth, low-friction operation
- Compact design fits standard door frames and hardware setups
- No power source required; fully mechanical operation for dependability even without electricity
Specifications
- Materials: Arm and roller assembly crafted from nickel-plated steel for enhanced durability and wear resistance.
- Lifespan: Rated for a minimum of 100,000 mechanical operations under typical use conditions[4][7].
- Main dimensions: Arm length approximately 110 mm; roller diameter approximately 25 mm. Mounting points compatible with most standard double-door closure systems.
- Chemical/Corrosion Resistance: Nickel plating offers protection against rust in humid or challenging environments[3][8]. Meets IP65 protection standards against dust and water ingress as per IEC EN60947-5-1 when installed correctly[4][7].
How it works
The selector mounts to the frame or one leaf of a pair of doors. As the first door closes, its movement activates the arm with rollers, holding it until both leaves are aligned before releasing them to latch simultaneously. This ensures secure closure sequencing without manual intervention.
