Usage

The Cisa Astral S Europrofile knob cylinder is designed for securing mechanical locks in residential or commercial doors, providing enhanced security and user-friendly access with an integrated thumb turn.

Specifications

  • Body made of brass with segment reinforcement throughout; nickel-plated finish for corrosion resistance. Features DIN steel cam and case-hardened steel pins.
  • Complies with EN-1303 European standards; SKG** certification ensures burglary resistance.
  • Cylinder features a high-security mechanism: total length approx. 85 mm (40 mm external / B45 mm internal), employing a precise system of ten pins (six active, four passive). Lifespan rated at over 100,000 cycles.
  • Differentiating features include reversible nickel-plated brass keys (three supplied), “DUO” clutch system enabling operation even if another key is inserted on the opposite side. Can be integrated into keyed-alike or master-key systems supporting up to over one million unique combinations.

How it works

This cylinder installs into compatible Europrofile lock cases. Users operate the lock externally by key or internally by turning the built-in knob. The multi-pin mechanism engages precision-engineered pins that resist common intrusion methods while ensuring smooth locking performance over thousands of cycles.
