FAQ

  1. What does the "B70" in the reference mean? — It refers to the button side length of 70 mm, indicating the total cylinder length on the button (interior) side of the door.

  2. Is this cylinder resistant to bumping? — Yes. The cylinder carries the BKP certification, confirming it has been tested and validated for resistance against bump key attacks.

  3. Can the key be copied at a standard locksmith or key-cutting shop? — No specific key copy protection is included, meaning the key can potentially be duplicated at standard key-cutting points without restriction.

  4. What security rating does this cylinder carry? — It conforms to European standard EN 1303 and holds an SKG** rating, indicating a mid-to-high level of certified mechanical security.

  5. Is this cylinder compatible with standard Euro profile lock cases? — Yes. The PZ (Euro Profile) format makes it compatible with the vast majority of standard Euro profile mortise lock cases used across Europe.
