Usage
The Opera Maxima II motorized lock with swinging bolt and 30mm backset is designed for secure, automated locking of metal or armored doors in industrial, commercial, or high-security environments.
Advantages
- Automated motorized locking ensures consistent security with every closure.
- Robust swinging deadbolt in hardened steel provides increased resistance to forced entry.
- Stainless steel faceplate and strike plate offer long-lasting corrosion protection.
- Opto-electronic position control enhances reliability and monitoring capabilities.
- Cylinder override allows mechanical opening in case of power failure.
Specifications
- Swinging bolt (35 x 14 mm) with a hardened anti-cutting deadbolt; backset: 30 mm; stainless steel faceplate (typically around 440 x 30 x 3 mm); adjustable anti-rebound ball-catch on the strike plate.
- CE EN14846 certified for security; components resistant to corrosion and wear; tested for durability under frequent use[1][3].
- 12 VDC power supply (peak current: up to 4 A); maximum motor energizing time: approximately 0.15 sec; bolt extension: up to 40 mm[1][2].
- Cylinder-compatible for mechanical override using a European profile cylinder (cylinder not included); magnetic door position sensor input; quick coupling electrical connector for fast installation[1][3].
How it works
The lock receives electronic commands from an access control or management unit. Upon closure, the swinging deadbolt extends automatically into the strike plate. The integrated sensor monitors door status and bolt position. A key-operated cylinder enables manual release if needed[1][3].
