Usage
The Rodcraft straight pneumatic grinder with 6mm collet is designed for precision grinding, deburring, and finishing of metal parts in workshops, automotive repair, and industrial maintenance environments.
Advantages
- High power output (up to 400W) ensures efficient material removal even at low speeds.
- Lightweight construction (approx. 0.37 kg) reduces operator fatigue during prolonged use.
- Pneumatic operation eliminates risks related to electric sparks and overheating in hazardous areas.
- Robust aluminum housing with anti-slip coating provides secure handling and durability.
- Simple design translates into reduced maintenance needs compared to electric grinders.
Specifications
- The grinder features a compact design with a robust aluminum body and ergonomic grip for improved comfort.
The tool uses a standard compressed air supply via an internal diameter hose of at least 8mm.[3][5][9]
- Pneumatic system ensures minimal wear; suitable for continuous operation in demanding settings.[6][10]
- No-load speed up to 30,000 rpm; maximum power output of approximately 300–400 watts; working pressure: ~6.3 bar; average air consumption: approx. 144 l/min.
Collet diameter: standard ø6 mm.[3][5][7]
- Differentiators include spindle lock mechanism for quick accessory changes and rear exhaust to direct airflow away from the workpiece.[9]
How it works
The tool connects to an air compressor via hose, using compressed air as its power source. Attach the desired accessory into the ø6 mm collet, engage airflow using the trigger or lever, then guide the rotating accessory over surfaces requiring grinding or finishing.
