Usage
The pneumatic rivet tool is designed for rapid and efficient installation of blind rivets ranging from 2.4 mm to 5 mm in diameter, ideal for sheet metal assembly, maintenance work, and industrial applications.
Advantages
- Pneumatic drive delivers consistent power for uniform riveting results
- Accommodates multiple rivet sizes with interchangeable nozzles (typically 2.4/3.2/4.0/4.8 mm)
- Reduces operator fatigue due to lightweight construction and ergonomic handle design
- Quick cycle time increases productivity in repetitive tasks
- A pressurized air supply is required for operation, which may limit portability in field use
Specifications
- Main body made from durable metal alloys with anti-corrosion surface treatment for longevity[5]
- Suits blind rivets between Ø2.4–5 mm; compatible with standard aluminium, steel, or stainless-steel fasteners[1][5]
- Operating air pressure: typically between 6–7 bar (87–101 PSI)[1][8]
- Pulling force up to approximately 8,400–11,760 N; working stroke around 14–16 mm per cycle[1][10]
- Total weight approximately between 1.3 kg and under (model dependent), promoting ease of handling[10]
How it works
The tool connects to a compressed air system via a hose. When triggered, the pneumatic mechanism pulls the mandrel of an inserted blind rivet until it snaps off at the set point—securing materials quickly with minimal manual effort.
