Usage
The Laserliner MultiWet-Finder Plus is designed for non-destructive measurement and assessment of moisture distribution in walls, floors, and ceilings, making it suitable for evaluating moisture damage and indoor climate conditions in buildings.
Advantages
- Non-destructive capacitive measuring method preserves building surfaces.
- Measures material moisture, ambient temperature (−10°C to 60°C), humidity (20%–90%), and dew point.
- Clear digital display with multi-colour LED indicators and audible alarm for fast interpretation.
- Data transfer via a digital interface enables rapid documentation with the MeasureNote app.
- User-configurable limit value alerts support targeted monitoring; requires regular calibration checks as a minor precaution.
Specifications
- Robust design featuring Laserliner BlackLine quality; durable ABS housing; capacitive sphere sensor technology for surface scans.
- Splash-proof construction; operates up to approximately 55 hours on three AAA batteries; conforms to industrial measurement standards.
- Measures ambient temperature from −10°C to +60°C (resolution: 0.1°C); relative humidity from 20%–90% (±3% at mid-range); dew point from −20°C to +60°C; weight: approx. 228 g including batteries; dimensions: 65 mm × 227 mm × 29 mm.
- Differentiates wet/dry areas using configurable visual/audible alarms, index/reference modes for comparative readings, weight-% and CM conversions for diverse building materials, automatic hold function, data transfer capability via app interface.
How it works
Place the device’s sensor against the surface. The instrument measures material or climate values without damaging the structure. Results are shown on a digital display with LED feedback and can be transferred digitally using an app connection.
