Usage
The Paumelle Dr Hahn KT-RV 2 lames Nut 16/3mm hinge is designed for secure mounting of PVC doors in both residential and commercial applications. Ideal for main, side, or interior entrance doors requiring robust support and reliable adjustment.
Advantages
- Quick installation without drilling, thanks to its two-part clamping system
- Supports door weights up to 90 kg depending on door profile design
- Horizontal (±1.5 mm) and vertical (+5 mm) adjustments possible without removing the door
- Maintenance-free operation due to durable bearing bushings made of PVC or similar materials
- Suits both DIN left and DIN right opening directions for versatile use; limited compatibility with non-standard profiles may require checking beforehand
Specifications
- Constructed from high-strength extruded aluminium with powder coating in RAL9005st black finish for corrosion resistance and contemporary appearance
- CE-certified according to EN1935:2002 (hinge class 12)
- Bearing capacity: up to 90 kg per pair of hinges, as permitted by the frame/profile configuration used on the door assembly[1][3]
- Lateral adjustment ±1.5 mm; vertical adjustment +5 mm enables simple precision alignment after installation[3]
How it works
The hinge secures directly onto compatible PVC door profiles using a clamping plate system, avoiding the need for drilling. Fine adjustments can be performed horizontally or vertically while the door remains hung, ensuring easy ongoing alignment without dismantling.
