Usage
Tec7 beige (RAL 1015) is a versatile adhesive and sealant designed for bonding, mounting, and sealing most building materials, even on wet or damp surfaces. Ideal for construction, sanitary installations, and general maintenance.
Advantages
- Bonds to both wet and dry substrates without the need for primer on most materials.
- Permanently elastic after curing; resists vibrations and remains flexible.
- UV-resistant, weatherproof, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial for indoor or outdoor use.
- Almost odourless formula; free from solvents, isocyanates, and phthalates.
- Lower adhesion to PP, PE, PTFE (Teflon), bitumen or silicones; test before use on these surfaces.
Specifications
- Base: Hybrid MS polymer technology in beige (RAL 1015); solvent-free formulation.
- Curing/Durability: Cures at approximately 6 mm in the first day at room temperature; Shore A hardness: approx. 60. Remains flexible long-term under most conditions. Shelf life: up to 18 months unopened.
- Performance: Tensile strength after full cure: approximately 265–280 N/cm². Elongation at break: over 350%. Skin formation time: about 8 minutes (23°C/50% RH). Thermal resistance from –40°C to +90°C (short peak up to +155°C).
- Differentiating Features: Suitable for sealing joints exposed to water or humidity—even underwater applications are possible. Paintable with most water-based paints once skin has formed.
Cartridge size: 310 ml / pce.
How it works
Tec7 beige is applied directly from the cartridge using a standard caulking gun onto clean surfaces. The product cures through air moisture into an elastic mass that bonds securely while remaining flexible. It can be tooled immediately after application and painted once surface skin forms if required.
