Usage
The Comaglio 472 automatic baseboard is designed to create an effective seal at the bottom of doors, blocking drafts, noise, dust, and light in both residential and commercial environments.
Advantages
- Prevents air infiltration for improved energy efficiency
- Reduces transmission of noise and external disturbances
- Minimizes entry of dust, smoke, and insects into the room
- Automatically adjusts to floor unevenness upon door closure
- Slim design for discreet integration with various door types
Specifications
- Anodized aluminum profile; integrated drop-down seal mechanism with neoprene or similar elastomer gasket [1][5]
- Sustains frequent operation cycles; suitable for fire-rated and acoustic doors following EN standards [3][8]
- Covers gaps up to approximately 15 mm; dimensions: height x width x length = 12 mm x 28.5 mm x 830 mm per piece [1]
- Concealed mounting hardware enables a seamless finish without visible screws or brackets [4][8]
How it works
When the door closes, a lateral plunger activates a concealed spring mechanism that drops the sealing bar against the floor. The seal retracts automatically when opened to prevent dragging or wear on floors[1][5].
