Usage
The BB LOCKS A1 Basic SANOCYL electric lock with adjustable ASP striker plate is designed for high-security access control in doors frequently used in public, institutional, and commercial buildings, such as banks, hospitals, or post offices.
Advantages
- Solid stainless steel construction offers superior resistance to burglary and vandalism attempts.
- Fail-safe operation ensures that the lock is unlocked without power—ideal for emergency situations or controlled access environments.
- Adjustable ASP striker plate allows lateral adjustment of ±2 mm for flexible on-site alignment during installation.
- Certified according to EN14846:2008 standard, suitable for intensive use and compliant with industry requirements.
- Integrated automatic locking mechanism instantly secures the door upon closure.
Specifications
- The body and covers are made from AISI 304 stainless steel; features an adjustable stainless steel striker plate (ASP) with molded cup protection for the bolt.
- Meets EN14846:2008 standards; tested to withstand over one million cycles at up to 600 operations per day; certified fire resistance up to 60 minutes (BSEN1634-1).
- Bolt resists lateral pressure up to 40,000 N (approximately 4,080 kg); bolt projection is 20 mm engaged in less than100 ms; operating temperature from -25°C to +70°C.
- SANOCYL version has no cylinder cut-out—unlocked by electric impulse via push button or external system; three Hall sensors on a resin-encapsulated PCB detect door/bolt position; supports both left- and right-handed doors due to symmetrical bolt design.
How it works
The lock operates on a fail-safe principle and unlocks when an authorized signal is given (from a push button or access control device). The powerful solenoid retracts the deadbolt rapidly. Once closed, three Hall sensors confirm proper alignment and automatically relock the door securely. The adjustable striker plate ensures optimal fit during installation.
