Usage
The Dorma G96 GSR semi-fixed selector arm is designed to coordinate the closing sequence of double doors with concealed door closers, ensuring correct closure order and compliance with fire or smoke protection requirements, for door leaves between 540 and 700 mm.
Advantages
- Ensures reliable closing sequence for active and inactive leaves on double doors
- Suitable for fire and smoke check doors, supporting safety compliance
- Semi-fixed design enables flexible installation within specified leaf widths
- Adjustable cushioned limit stay protects against door and wall damage during opening
- Non-handed construction allows use on both left- or right-sided applications
Specifications
- Aluminium profile in silver finish; integrated mechanical co-ordinator system using a push rod clamping mechanism independent of hydraulic closer action
- Carries EN 1158 certification as a co-ordinator device; suitable for barrier-free buildings according to DIN standards; compatible with EN class force ranges (EN 2–4 up to door width of max.1100 mm)
- Covers semi-fixed leaf widths from minimum 540 mm up to maximum of approximately 700 mm; mechanical opening angle limiter adjustable between approx. 80° and max. 120°; typical dimensions: ~277 mm length × 32 mm width × 42 mm height (for EN 2–4)
- Cushioned limit stay reduces impact at full open position; adjustable closing speed remains effective across temperature fluctuations; reversibility supports both left- and right-opening installations
How it works
This selector arm installs within the frame or door leaf, linking active and inactive leaves via a slide channel system. When the doors are opened together, it ensures that the inactive leaf closes first before the active one fully closes, securing correct latching—essential for smoke/fire rated assemblies.
