Usage
This 8mm carbide-tipped drill bit is designed for use with percussion drills up to 1000 W, enabling precise drilling in concrete, natural stone, masonry, and limestone for anchor holes or installation work.
Advantages
- Carbide tip resists chipping and wear for consistent performance
- Toughened steel body with U-shaped milled flute ensures optimal dust removal
- High flexural strength reduces the risk of breakage under load
- Compatible with standard percussion drills for versatile applications
- Satisfies ISO 5468 and DIN 8039 standards for proven reliability
Specifications
- Milled U-flute design in hardened steel; brazed carbide cutting tip according to DIN standards ensures durability and efficient drilling action[1][3].
- Brazed at high temperature; complies with ISO 5468 and DIN 8039 regulations for safety and quality assurance[1][3].
- Drill diameter: Ø8 mm; typically available in total lengths around 110–120 mm (length may vary by reference); optimized for use with a percussion drill up to 1000 W[4][3].
- The wide seating of the carbide insert minimizes point damage while rapid dust evacuation maintains cut efficiency throughout operation[1][5].
How it works
The bit is mounted into a compatible percussion drill. On activation, the hardened carbide tip concentrates impact energy on hard materials like concrete or stone while spiral flutes efficiently remove debris from the hole as you drill.
