Usage
This 10mm carbide-tipped drill bit is designed for efficient drilling into concrete, natural stone, masonry, and limestone using rotary hammer or percussion drills up to 1000W. Ideal for creating anchor holes and fixings in demanding construction environments.
Advantages
- Carbide tip ensures reliable penetration and extended cutting life even in tough materials.
- U-shaped milled flute accelerates dust removal, supporting cleaner, faster drilling progress.
- Toughened steel body resists bending and breakage under high loads.
- Brazed at high temperature according to DIN standards for secure attachment of the carbide insert.
- Slightly higher vibration than multi-flute designs may occur with prolonged use in reinforced concrete.
Specifications
- Milled U-shape flute with hardened steel body and precision-ground tungsten carbide cutting tip (DIN-compliant).
- Complies with ISO 5468; suitable for rotary hammer drills up to max. 1000W power output.
- Diameter: Ø10 mm; optimal for anchor hole applications in construction tasks. Typical overall length varies by manufacturer (commonly around 160 mm).
- Brazed wide-seat carbide tip increases resistance to chipping and improves durability during repeated impact cycles.
How it works
The drill bit attaches securely to a standard rotary hammer or percussion drill. When engaged, the carbide-tipped point impacts the surface—pulverizing stone or concrete—and spiral flutes channel away debris for steady progress through hard substrates.
