Usage
The Abloy EL460 solenoid mortise lock is designed for electrically controlled access on profile doors, commonly used in interior office, public building, or corridor environments requiring secure one-sided handle control and monitoring.

How it works
The EL460 uses a solenoid mechanism to control the outside handle electronically via an access system. When locked, the deadbolt extends automatically as the door closes, securing it in two points. The inside handle always provides mechanical emergency egress while monitored contacts report real-time locking status.
