Usage
The Abloy EL520 motorized mortise lock is designed for secure access control in high-traffic wooden or metal doors, typically found in public buildings, commercial premises, hospitals, and educational facilities.

How it works
The EL520 unlocks electrically when triggered by an access control signal – retracting the deadbolt inside the case while releasing the latch for opening by a pull handle or automated operator. Mechanical override by key cylinder is always possible from outside while free egress is maintained from inside via handle operation. When closed again,the lock automatically throws out its deadbolt securing the door at two points[1][9].
