Usage
The Baton cire dure 248 is designed for repairing scratches, chips, and small holes on PVC window or door frames. It is intended for both workshop and on-site maintenance as part of the Novoryt repair kit.
Advantages
- Effectively restores damaged PVC surfaces to their original appearance.
- The hard wax composition ensures a durable result suitable for everyday wear.
- Easy application with rapid solidification reduces downtime during repairs.
- Compatible with multiple finishes used in the window frame industry, including Rénolit, Hornschuch, and Cova films.
- No need to replace entire frames—targeted repair minimizes material waste.
Specifications
- Formulated from high-strength hard wax specifically engineered for PVC profiles.
- Sustains color stability over time; does not yellow or crack under normal conditions.
- Optimized melting point enables quick application while maintaining robustness after solidification (typically resilient above +5°C ambient temperature).
- Tailored to match standard white finishes of most contemporary PVC profiles; compatible with additional surface treatments in the Novoryt system for seamless integration with existing surfaces[4][6].
How it works
Melt the baton using an appropriate tool from the Novoryt kit and fill areas needing repair. Allow to cool and harden, then finish by smoothing and optionally applying matching topcoats where necessary. The process quickly restores function and visual continuity to damaged profiles[4][6].
