Usage
The Baton cire dure 156 is designed for precise repairs of scratches, dents, drill holes, and surface damage on PVC window and door profiles. It is suitable for both workshop and on-site applications as part of the Novoryt repair kit.
Advantages
- Provides a durable and discreet repair for damaged PVC profiles
- Maintains color consistency with common surface finishes (Rénolit, Hornschuch, Cova)
- Easy to apply and integrate into existing Novoryt kits
- No need for complete profile replacement after minor damages
- Compact size allows efficient repairs with minimal material waste
Specifications
- Baton made from hard wax formulation specifically matched to PVC profile surfaces (bâton cire dure/Hard Wax Stick No.156) [5][9]
- Smooth finish; compatible with standard abrasives and retouching pens in the Novoryt system [1][5]
- Baton size: typically approx. Ø12 mm x length ~40 mm (approximate weight: ~16 g) [4]
- Melt point engineered for use with portable heat tools (e.g., gas melter included in repair sets) [1][5]
How it works
The wax stick is melted using a portable heat tool directly onto damaged areas of the PVC profile. Once cooled, it is shaped, sanded flush, and retouched or sealed as needed to restore appearance and function.
