Usage
The Baton cire dure 383 is designed for targeted repairs on PVC window and door frame profiles. It is suitable for quickly filling scratches, chips, drill holes, or other localized surface damages during installation or maintenance.
Advantages
- Allows precise repair of visible damage on PVC frames without the need for complete profile replacement.
- Compatible with Novoryt repair kits and closely matches common profile finishes.
- Simple application process reduces downtime and enables rapid corrections onsite.
- Smooth finish after application ensures minimal visibility post-repair.
- Formulated specifically for use with gas melting tools found in standard Novoryt kits; color tone may require selection to perfectly match certain foils or laminates.
Specifications
- Cylindrical stick of hard wax (cire dure), compatible with most melting applicators used in professional repair kits.
- The material offers good resistance to abrasion once set, maintaining durability under regular handling conditions.[4][6]
- The volume per baton provides enough product for multiple small touch-ups; typically each stick measures approximately Ø12 mm x length ~45 mm (manufacturer's nominal dimensions).
- Differentiating feature: specifically formulated to work with a wide range of PVC surface textures and colors—especially those common in European frame manufacturing.[4][5][6]
How it works
The Baton cire dure is gently melted onto damaged areas using a repair tool from the Novoryt kit. Once cooled, excess material is trimmed flush, then finished using included abrasives to achieve an even appearance matching the original PVC profile.[4][5]
