Usage
The Baton cire dure 487 is intended for repairing and restoring PVC window and door profiles. It is suitable for filling scratches, chips, drill holes, and minor surface defects on PVC frames during installation or maintenance.
Advantages
- Effectively fills scratches, cracks, chips, and small holes in PVC profiles
- Suitable for renovation both in workshop conditions or on-site installations
- Simplifies touch-ups with compatibility to Rénolit, Hornschuch, and Cova decorative films
- No need to replace entire frames when performing localized repairs
- A minor drawback: requires the use of a melting tool (not included individually) for application
Specifications
- Formulated as a hard wax stick compatible with Novoryt repair kits for PVC frame profiles; designed specifically for white and film-coated surfaces (Rénolit/Hornschuch/Cova)
- Resistant to everyday mechanical wear; maintains appearance after finishing with provided matt varnish; adheres to recognized workshop standards for profile repairs[1][5]
- Covers small damages up to several centimeters wide per stick; each piece measures approximately standard wax refill dimensions compatible with kit holders[1]
- Differentiator: matches the color range of popular film finishes used by major profile manufacturers; integrates seamlessly into Novoryt’s modular repair system[1][5]
How it works
The hard wax stick is melted using an appropriate tool and applied directly into damaged areas on the PVC frame. Once cooled, excess material is smoothed flush using scrapers or abrasive pads before sealing with a finishing varnish if required.
