Usage
Designed for sealing connection and expansion joints, the Silicone DL Chemicals Prestige 3 en 1 gris foncé mat is ideal for facades, plumbing applications, and natural stone installations. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.

Specifications
- The sealant is based on neutral-cure polysiloxane (silicone) technology with a matt dark grey finish; supplied in a ready-to-use paste consistency in a standard 300 ml cartridge.
- Shelf life: up to 15 months when stored unopened in cool (5–25°C), dry conditions away from direct sunlight; complies with FDA code 21 §177.2600(e) for food contact applications.
- Curing rate: forms skin within approximately 15 minutes at room temperature (23°C/50% RH); cures at approximately 2.5 mm/24 hr. Shore A hardness: approx. 32. Elastic recovery exceeds 80%. Elongation at break: 180% per ISO standards[2][6].
- Differentiating features include matte color stability over time and suitability for sanitary joints due to high mould resistance[4][6]. Not recommended for permanent submersion or use on PE, PP, PA or PTFE surfaces[2].
How it works
After surface preparation, apply the silicone directly into clean and dry joints using a caulking gun. The product cures through humidity from the air—forming an elastic seal that accommodates movement while providing long-lasting protection against moisture, mould growth and external influences.
