Usage
Designed for sealing and joining expansion joints, facades, glazing, sanitary areas, and natural stone surfaces both indoors and outdoors. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools (with appropriate primer), and areas in contact with food.
Advantages
- Permanently elastic for long-term flexibility in movement joints.
- Excellent adhesion to most building materials including natural stone without staining.
- Mould resistant composition suitable for damp or humid environments.
- Withstands UV exposure and extreme temperatures from -50°C to +150°C.
- Complies with food safety standards for direct contact applications; minor drawback: not recommended to expose uncured sealant to mechanical or chemical stress.
Specifications
- Neutral cure silicone based on polysiloxanes; supplied as a ready-to-use paste in a 300ml cartridge.
- Lifespan of unopened cartridge up to 15 months when stored between +5°C and +25°C away from sunlight; meets FDA code requirements for food contact surfaces[2][3].
- Cures at approximately 2.5mm depth per day (23°C/50% RH); Shore A hardness: approx. 32; elasticity at break: ~180%; density: ~1.31 g/ml[2][5].
- No staining on sensitive materials like marble or granite; available in over forty colour shades including rouge beige; suitable joint width from 5 mm to 30 mm[3][4].
How it works
Apply the silicone directly into clean, dry joints using a standard caulking gun. The product cures by reaction with ambient humidity, forming a flexible seal within approximately one day per few millimetres of thickness.
