Usage
Silicone DL Chemicals Prestige 3 en 1 Ral3005 bordeaux is designed for sealing joints in facades, plumbing installations, and natural stone. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications where durable, flexible sealing is required.
Advantages
- Neutral oxime curing silicone suitable for sensitive materials including natural stone
- Permanently elastic for long-lasting joint flexibility and movement absorption
- Mould resistant to maintain clean joints in humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens
- High resistance to UV exposure, weathering, and temperature fluctuations from -50°C to +150°C
- Certified for food contact (FDA code 21 §177.2600), expanding its application range into kitchens and hygienic areas
Specifications
- Formulated from high-quality polysiloxanes with a matt bordeaux finish (Ral3005)
- Permanently elastic with an elongation at break of approximately 130% (ISO 8339), Shore A hardness of roughly 36 (ISO 868)
- Cures by reaction with air humidity; skin forms in about 17 minutes at standard conditions; cure rate of approximately 3.5 mm after the first day at room temperature; density: approx. 1.18 g/ml; can absorb up to ±12.5% movement in joints
- Excellent adhesion on most substrates without primer—works equally well on concrete, glass, wood, metal, PVC, tile or stone; meets EN15651 standards for construction sealants; indoor air quality class A+ (very low emissions)
How it works
This single-component silicone cures through air humidity after application using a standard sealant gun. It bonds directly to dry surfaces—apply evenly into clean joints or gaps requiring flexible waterproofing or airtightness indoors or outdoors.
