Usage
The BB LOCKS A1 Basic SANOCYL electric lock is designed for high-security access control on doors in environments requiring dependable, intensive use, such as commercial buildings, institutions, and industrial facilities.
Advantages
- Certified to EN14846 for electromechanical locking security and reliability
- Fail-safe function: remains unlocked during power loss for safety compliance
- High resistance against forced entry—bolt withstands up to 40,000N lateral force
- Automatic re-locking secures the door immediately upon closing
- No integrated handle or latch; may require specific cylinder compatibility or accessories depending on the installation context
Specifications
- Design & Materials: Baseplate and covers constructed from stainless steel (AISI 304); uses an adjustable stainless steel striker plate with a molded protection cup.
- Sustainability & Standards: Certified EN14846; tested for up to one million cycles at a frequency of up to 600 cycles per day; operational temperature range from -25°C to +70°C.
- Performance: Solenoid-driven mechanism operates under peak loads of up to 40,000N side force; bolt throw is approximately 20mm in less than 100ms; low power consumption due to optimized solenoid design.
- Differentiating Features: Integrated electronic door status monitoring via three Hall sensors; compatible with various access control impulse generators (push buttons, card readers); reversible mounting options and adjustable striker plate enable flexible installation.
How it works
This electromechanical lock operates fail-safe: applying power keeps the door locked. Unlocking is triggered by an external access control device generating an electrical impulse. Automatic mechanisms ensure immediate re-locking when the door closes. Status sensors allow integration with building management systems.
