Usage
The Dorma G96 GSR-EMF2 semi-fixed selector arm is designed for double-leaf doors equipped with concealed ITS 96 door closers, providing controlled and coordinated closing in commercial or public buildings.
Advantages
- Allows precise coordination of the closing sequence for double doors with one active and one semi-fixed leaf.
- Suitable for concealed installation, preserving the aesthetics of high-end interiors.
- Compatible with fire and smoke protection doors according to EN 1154 standards.
- Reversible design for use on left- or right-handed doors simplifies installation on site.
- Smooth, continuously adjustable closing speed unaffected by temperature changes; features a mechanical opening limiter to protect door and wall surfaces.
Specifications
- Slim arm constructed from robust metals with an anodized silver finish; integrates seamlessly into the door’s structure for a discreet look[7].
- CERTIFIED EN1154:2003-04 compliant — suitable for use as part of certified fire-resistant assemblies[7].
- Total length: suitable for semi-fixed leaf widths above 700 mm; main component dimensions: approximately 51 x 39.5 x 291 mm (EN3-6) or as specified per model[7]. Adjustable mechanical opening limiter between approximately 80°–120° protects against impacts during operation[7].
- The assembly is reversible (left/right), supports variable closing force settings (matched to ITS96 closer EN sizes), and is compatible with various spindle extensions depending on configuration needs. Finishes in silver match leading architectural standards[7][8].
How it works
This selector arm mounts within the top channel of a double-door set using a Dorma ITS96 concealed closer system. When both leaves are open, it controls the sequence so that the inactive (semi-fixed) leaf closes first before allowing the active leaf to shut fully, ensuring proper latch engagement every time[7]. Its integrated adjustment features allow fine-tuning without disassembly during routine maintenance or commissioning.
