Product
The Plinthe automatique CCE TREND 1220 is an automatic drop-down baseboard for doors sized 1030 mm, designed to effectively seal the gap between door and floor for improved acoustic and environmental insulation. Suitable for residential, commercial, or institutional applications.
Specifications
- Constructed with rigid linkage arms made of nylon reinforced with glass fiber for maximum effectiveness and consistent pressure on all types of floors
- Self-directing push-button actuator in metal, nylon cap adjustable with a 3 mm hex key, and a co-extruded thermoplastic fire-resistant gasket (rigid + flexible)
- Suited for installation on PVC, wood, aluminum, and security doors
- Durable, robust internal mechanism; unit can be shortened by up to 200 mm for custom fit
- Installation requires removal of the internal mechanism for screw fixing (fasteners not included), then replacement of the mechanism after mounting
Usage
The automatic baseboard activates when the door closes, with a push-button pressing against the door frame or an external stop. This triggers the internal linkage, lowering the inner profile in a guillotine motion to ensure the gasket makes full-length, even contact with the floor, thus sealing the gap and improving insulation.
