The BB Locks A1 Basic 60 SA electric lock is a high-security, fail-safe mortise lock designed for access control in public buildings, hotels, airports, shopping centers, and emergency exits. It automatically unlocks in the event of a power failure for secure evacuation.

  • Adjustable, stainless steel ASP strike plate included
  • Electronic circuit protected with polyurethane resin for humidity resistance
  • Compatible with 17 mm and 22 mm profile cylinders
  • Four signal outputs: bolt, door, cylinder, handle
  • Power supply: 24 V DC ±5%, Inrush current: 2.2 A, Holding current: 130 mA
  • Removable plug connectors with screw terminals

Usage

After the door closes, the embedded Hall sensor detects the strike plate. The spring ejects the deadbolt, which is then mechanically locked. In case of power failure, the lock automatically unlocks (fail-safe function), ensuring unobstructed exit. Mechanical override remains possible at all times with a profile cylinder, even under side pressure.
