Usage
The Cisa TEKNO 35/10 high-security double half-cylinder is designed for mechanical locking systems in residential, commercial, or institutional doors where advanced protection against forced entry and unauthorized key duplication is required.
Advantages
- Highly resistant to drilling, bumping, pulling, and picking thanks to hardened steel pins and patented technologies.
- Patented controlled duplication with security card ensures keys can only be copied via authorized centers or the manufacturer.
- Continued operation from one side even if a key remains inserted on the opposite side (clutch function).
- Long-term durability tested up to 100,000 cycles according to EN 1303:2015 standards.
- The offset format (35/10 mm) offers flexibility for specific door types but may not fit all installations without prior length verification.
Specifications
- Cylinder constructed from nickel-plated brass with a clutch-type self-lubricating DIN cam; internal elements include cemented steel pins and variable shape steel drivers for enhanced resistance[1][2].
- Certified in accordance with EN 1303:2015 (Durability grade: class 6; Attack resistance: class C); conforms with SKG** security standards[1][5].
- Pinned system features a total of ten pins (6 active, four passive), providing up to over one million possible combinations; supports grand masterkeying systems[1][4][5].
- Main body length configuration is approximately 44 mm (35 mm + 9.5–10 mm); unit weight around 0.185 kg[1][2]. The product maintains its functionality for at least 100,000 opening/closing cycles[1][5]. Key is reversible flat type in nickel-plated brass with ergonomic plastic grip head—neck length of 16 mm allows compatibility with protective roses[1][2].[4]
How it works
This double half-cylinder operates by inserting the patented reversible key into either end. The complex pin-and-driver system authenticates the key before allowing the lock mechanism to turn and operate the door latch or deadbolt. Even if a key stays inside on one side, users can unlock or lock from the other thanks to its clutch mechanism.[1][4]
