Usage
The Cisa TEKNO DUO double cylinder is designed for high-security mechanical locking of doors in residential, commercial, and professional environments where controlled access and resistance to tampering are critical.
Advantages
- High resistance to bumping due to the patented BKP (Bump Key Power) device
- Advanced anti-drill protection enabled by hardened steel components in the key bitting system
- Patented key profile with duplications only possible through authorized CISA centers for greater key control
- Lends itself to masterkey systems, allowing multiple door access with a single key if required
- Supplied with three flat reversible keys and security card ensuring regulated duplication procedures
Specifications
- Cylinder body: Brass with hardened carbonitrided steel pins and variable-shape steel drivers; phosphor bronze & steel springs; DIN self-lubricating clutch cam mechanism for emergency use from both sides.
- Certified according to EN1303:2005 – offering durability (up to grade 6), attack resistance (grade B), and high levels of key-related security.
- Bitting system: Double cylinder equipped with a total of ten pins—six active, four passive—for enhanced pick resistance. Weight approx. 0.35–0.37 kg depending on length combination.
- Differentiating feature: Controlled break section that ensures opening remains possible after an attempted forced entry—heart of the cylinder remains protected within lock case.
How it works
Cylinder is installed into the door lock housing, providing locking by engaging or rotating via an authorized flat reversible key from either side. The clutch-type cam allows opening even if a key is left inserted on one side during emergencies or everyday use.
