Usage

The Cisa TEKNO 40/50 DUO double cylinder is designed for securing entrance doors in residential and commercial buildings, offering advanced protection against unauthorized entry with high resistance to common burglary techniques.

Advantages

  • Provides anti-drill protection through hardened steel pistons and pins on both sides of the cylinder.

  • Utilizes a clutch-type emergency function for operation from both sides, even if a key is left inserted internally.
  • The duplication of keys is strictly controlled and can only be done by authorized CISA centers.

  • Cylinder body made of robust brass; pins in carbonitrided steel; hardened steel variable-shape drivers; phosphor bronze and steel springs.
    Flat reversible nickel-plated brass keys with ergonomic plastic bow supplied as standard.
    Finish: satin nickel-plated brass.
    Supplied with three keys, security card, fixing screw, operation and maintenance instructions.
  • BKP system (Bump Key Power) patented by CISA.
    Conforms to EN 1303:2005 standards: Durability Grade 6 (100,000 cycles), Attack Resistance Grade 2.
    Key Related Security Level: Grade 6.
    Patents: EP1867810B1 (key), PCT/WO2007/074163A1 (BKP).
  • Cylinder size: overall length approximately 90 mm (40 mm + 50 mm).

    10-pin key bitting system (6 active + 4 passive pins) guaranteeing high levels of security against decoding techniques.
  • Differentiating features include the clutch mechanism enabling emergency opening,
    double side control pin in hardened steel,
    and certified drill/bumping resistance meeting demanding European safety requirements.

How it works

The double cylinder operates using an internal mechanism of ten pins that align uniquely for each key profile. Insert the supplied flat reversible key into either side to engage or disengage the locking cam. The clutch feature ensures access from one side even if a key remains inserted on the other side.
