Usage
The Cylindre DUO double de très haute sécurité Cisa TEKNO 30/70 is designed for securing entry doors in residential and commercial buildings, offering advanced mechanical protection against unauthorized access and forced entry attempts.
Advantages
- 10-pin system (6 active, 4 passive) with additional control pins for enhanced pick resistance[1][4].
- BKP device provides high resistance against bumping techniques[1][9].
- Cemented steel pins and hardened elements ensure strong drill protection[1][9].
- Double cylinder design enables key operation from both sides of the door[1].
- Patented key profile restricts unauthorized duplication (duplicates only available at authorized centers)[9].
Specifications
- Brass body and plugs; self-lubricating DIN sintered steel clutch cam; variable shape hardened steel pin drivers; phosphor bronze and steel springs[1].
- Cylinder certified to EN1303:2015 for durability, security, and performance standards; high cycle endurance tested up to at least 100,000 cycles[2][6][9].
- Total length: approximately 100 mm (30/70). Weight: ~0.37 kg per unit. Includes three keys with ergonomic plastic grip head[1][2]. Key thickness: approx. 2.9 mm.
- Clutch mechanism allows opening from one side while a key is inserted on the other. Snap-resistant design ensures operability even after break-in attempt at pre-determined point[9]. Features coded keys with numerical identification for controlled duplication.
How it works
The double cylinder operates by inserting the coded key into either side of the lock, engaging ten precision-engineered pins within a brass housing. The clutch mechanism allows access even if a key remains inserted on one side while maintaining full anti-bumping and anti-drill protections.
