Usage
Designed for doors requiring a high level of mechanical security, the Cisa TEKNO 50/10 double half-cylinder is suitable for residential, commercial, and institutional access control installations where protection against forced entry and key duplication is critical.
Advantages
- 10-pin (6 active, 4 passive) key bitting system increases resistance to picking and unauthorized access[1][3].
- BKP patented technology provides certified protection against bumping attempts[3][5].
- Highly durable construction, certified for up to 100,000 operating cycles under EN1303:2015 standards[2][5].
- Nylon ergonomic key head and reversible flat nickel-plated brass keys offer user comfort and long-term reliability[1][3].
- Protected key profile with controlled duplication via security card ensures traceability; minor drawback: additional keys can only be made at authorized centers[2][3].
Specifications
- Cylinder body and plugs made of corrosion-resistant nickel-plated solid brass; clutch-type cam in self-lubricating sintered steel[1][2]. Pins are hardened steel with variable shapes for enhanced anti-drill resistance.
- Complies with EN1303:2015 (Durability Grade: 6 / Key Security Grade: max / Attack Resistance Grade C)[4][7]. Certified also to SKG** standard.
- Cylinder length: external side – 50 mm; internal side – 10 mm. Operating temperature suitable for standard environments. Weight approx. 0.245 kg per unit[1].[4]
- BKP anti-bumping system; anti-pick special counterpins; DIN-standard clutch allows operation even if a key remains inserted from one side (emergency function)[1][5]. Supplied as standard with three keys plus security card.
How it works
The double cylinder is installed into the door lock case. A corresponding reversible flat key operates either side of the cylinder, engaging or disengaging the lock mechanism through a secure pin-tumbler system engineered to resist physical attacks such as drilling, bumping or picking.[1][3]
