Usage
The Cylindre DUO double de très haute sécurité Cisa TEKNO 40/45 is designed for securing residential, commercial, or institutional entry doors where a high level of mechanical security and controlled key duplication are required.
Advantages
- 10-pin system (6 active and 4 passive) enhances resistance to picking and unauthorized manipulation.
- BKP patented device offers certified protection against bumping attacks for reliable intrusion prevention.
- Cemented steel pins and hardened steel drivers increase drill resistance, extending product lifespan.
- Emergency clutch function allows key operation from both sides without obstruction in case of an emergency.
- Patented keys can only be duplicated by authorized Cisa Tekno Centers, ensuring high control over access rights.
Specifications
- The cylinder features a brass body with nickel-plated finish, carbonitrided steel pins, variable shape hardened steel drivers, and phosphor bronze/steel springs. The clutch cam is self-lubricating DIN sintered steel.[2][4]
- Complies with EN1303:2005 standards for durability (class durability: grade 6) and attack resistance (grade 2), ensuring certified performance under demanding use.[4]
- Total length: approximately 85 mm (40 mm / outside +45 mm / inside). Weight varies by configuration; average unit weight is about 0.26 kg.[1][2]
- Differentiates itself through BKP anti-bumping technology, double side control pin design for enhanced security, ergonomic flat reversible key compatible with protective escutcheons,[4] and supplied security card to control additional key requests.[4]
How it works
This mechanical double cylinder lock operates via a precision-cut flat reversible key. When inserted into the cylinder on either side of the door, the correct alignment of its patented multi-pin system actuates the locking mechanism while resisting common forced-entry techniques such as picking or bumping.[4]
