Usage
Silicone neutre DL Chemicals AM85-1 blanc sécurité RAL9003 310ml is designed for sealing connection and expansion joints in construction, such as between frames and walls, glazing joints, facades, interior walls, concrete or wood structures. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Advantages
- Excellent adhesion without primer to most building materials including glass, aluminum, concrete, treated wood and ceramics
- Permanently elastic with over 80% elastic recovery capacity (ISO 7389)
- High resistance to UV rays and weathering across temperatures from -50°C to +150°C
- No MEKO: safer application with VOC emissions <100 g/l (French A+ class)
- Cures quickly forming a skin within approximately 15 minutes at standard conditions; not suitable for insulating glazing edge seals or PVB laminated glass[1][3][6]
Specifications

- Certifications: CE & UKCA EN15651-1 F EXT-INT/EN15651-2 G25LM; French A+, SNJF Façade 25E/ATG Belgium approval[1]
- Performance: Shore A hardness of about 23 (ISO868), elongation at break up to ~300%, max permissible deformation of ±25%, modulus at break approx. 0.35 N/mm2
- Differentiators: Weatherseal formula offers permanent flexibility in demanding climates; shelf life unopened for up to fifteen months[1][6]
How it works
The product is applied directly from the cartridge into clean and dry joints using a manual or pneumatic dispenser. It cures upon contact with air humidity to form a durable elastic seal that accommodates joint movement while resisting weathering over time.
