Usage
Silicone neutre AM85-1 blanc RAL9010 is designed for sealing connection and expansion joints in construction, including facades, interior walls, between frames and walls, and glazing applications. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Advantages
- Neutral oxime curing: compatible with most building materials without primer
- Permanently elastic for durable joint movement accommodation
- High resistance to ageing, weather conditions, UV rays, and temperature extremes (-50°C to +150°C)
- No MEKO content—safer indoor air quality (VOC emission class A+)
- Very easy application thanks to one-component formulation; may require primer on alkali substrates like concrete or brick
Specifications
- Chemistry: neutral cure (oxime-based) silicone rubber (RTV-1), single-component cartridge (310 ml/300 ml)
- Lifespan: high resistance to ageing; conforms to EN 15651-1 F EXT-INT 25 LM & EN 15651-2 G 25 LM; French VOC Class A+, ATG approved, SNJF Façade 25E certified
- Permanently elastic with excellent adhesion on glass, treated wood, aluminum, steel (incl. stainless/anodized), PVC—typical movement capability of ±25%
- Color: Pure white RAL9010 for a clean finish; matt appearance; ready-to-use formula cures at room temperature with humidity from air
How it works
This neutral silicone is applied directly from the cartridge into clean joints using a suitable applicator. It polymerizes upon exposure to ambient air moisture at room temperature to form a permanently flexible seal that withstands building movements and harsh environmental conditions.
