Usage

Apply with a standard sealant gun to clean, dry, and dust-free surfaces. The product cures by reacting with moisture in the air, forming a permanently elastic and weather-resistant seal. For porous or alkaline surfaces such as concrete or brick, the use of a primer is recommended for optimal adhesion. Suitable for sealing connection and expansion joints in façades, walls, partitions, and for glazing applications, including laminated glass.

FAQ

  1. What materials does this silicone adhere to?
It bonds without primer to most building materials like glass, aluminium, treated wood, various metals, and plastics. For concrete or brick, a primer is advised.

  2. Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, it offers high resistance to weather, UV, and temperature variations, making it suitable for exterior applications.

  3. Is the product elastic after curing?
Yes, it remains permanently elastic with over 80% elastic recovery and can accommodate up to 25% joint movement.

  4. What is the recommended operating temperature range?
The cured silicone performs reliably from -50°C to +150°C.

  5. How should surfaces be prepared before application?
Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Porous or alkaline substrates should be primed for best results.
