Usage
This neutral silicone is designed for sealing glazing, connection, and expansion joints in facades, interior walls, and between frames and walls. Suitable for use on most building substrates indoors or outdoors.
Advantages
- Permanently elastic after curing for reliable long-term flexibility
- Adheres excellently to glass, metal, concrete, wood, PVC without primer on most surfaces
- High resistance to UV radiation and extreme weather conditions (from -50°C to +150°C)
- Easy application with a standard cartridge gun; skin formation in about 15–25 minutes
- MEKO-free formulation reduces harmful emissions (VOC <100 g/l); not paintable or suitable for sanitary applications
Specifications
- Chemistry: One-component neutral oxime-curing polysiloxane silicone (RTV-1)
- Certifications: CE marking per EN15651-1 & EN15651-2; A+ French VOC emission class; SNJF Façade approval; ATG (Belgian technical approval)
- Cured properties: Shore A hardness ~22–23; elastic recovery >80%, max deformation up to 25%, elongation at break approx. 280%–300%
- Differentiators: Black RAL9011 shade ensures aesthetic continuity for modern joinery projects. Shelf life up to 15 months if stored cool (+5°C to +25°C) and dry.
How it works
The one-part silicone cures by reacting with air humidity after being applied into clean joints using a caulking gun. Once cured, it forms a durable elastic seal that accommodates movement in building elements while maintaining adhesion even under harsh external conditions.
