Description

Product

Silicone neutre DL Chemicals AM85-1 bahama beige is a neutral, one-component, ready-to-use silicone sealant designed for sealing joints in frames, concrete, and wood. It is ideal for weatherproofing and construction applications where lasting elasticity and adhesion are required.

Specifications

  • Neutral cure, oxime-based silicone (RTV-1), available in 310ml and 300ml cartridges
  • Adheres without primer to most building materials: glass, aluminium, reinforced concrete, ABS, hard polystyrene, brass, bronze, steel (including stainless and galvanized), tiles, treated wood
  • Outstanding resistance to aging, weather, and temperatures from -50°C to +150°C
  • Shore A hardness: 23; elastic recovery: >80%; elongation at break: 300%
  • MEKO-free; VOC content less than 100 g/l; usable for glazing and expansion joints

Usage

Apply with a standard sealant gun at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. The silicone cures using air humidity to form a durable, flexible rubber seal. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and can be applied to both non-porous and, with primer, to alkaline surfaces such as concrete and brick.
