Usage
The Abloy EL567 solenoid multipoint lock is designed for secure access control on solid doors in commercial, public, or high-traffic environments. Suitable for fire-rated and medium traffic doors where controlled entry and exit are required.
Advantages
- Electrically controls both inside and outside handles for flexible access management
- Multipoint locking enhances security by securing the door at several points simultaneously
- Compliant with fire door standards, suitable for safety-critical installations
- Mechanical key override allows emergency manual opening from either side
- Status monitoring outputs support integration with building access systems; installation requires precise fitting
Specifications
- The lock features a DIN standard modular design with a durable steel case and flat or U-shaped faceplate options to suit various installation needs.
- Certified for use in fire-rated doors (EN standards), supporting both security and life safety requirements.
- Operates on a voltage range of 12–24 V DC; designed to withstand door weights up to approximately 200 kg. Handle spacing: center distance of 72 mm; backset: typically available in sizes such as 60 mm (and other modular options).
- Differentiated by its solenoid-driven dual-handle control function, multipoint deadlocking mechanism, automatic re-locking, and comprehensive status reporting capabilities.
How it works
This electromechanical lock uses solenoids to engage or release both handles under electrical control. When activated by an access system or remote command, authorized users can operate the handle to open the door. In case of power loss, mechanical key operation remains always available from either side.
